Paul Meyer is a founding partner of Meyer & Sayers, LLP, a Savannah, GA, based law firm that specializes in wills and trusts, estate planning, probate, fiduciary litigation, taxation, business succession planning, and more. He graduated, cum laude and as salutatorian, in 1996 from Mercer Law School. He also holds a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech where he graduated with honors.
Paul is an advocate of philanthropy, regularly serving as a mentor to various groups, especially those involved with youth. He is a current or past board member of Hospice Savannah, Inc., the Steward Center for Palliative Care, Hospice Savannah Foundation, Inc., Christ Church Episcopal, the Coastal Georgia Council of the Boy Scouts of America, Performance Initiatives, Inc., Elevate Savannah, Inc., Tharros Place, Inc. and Savannah Christian Preparatory School and its Foundation. Paul is a past Scoutmaster and current Assistant Scoutmaster of Troop 57 on Skidaway Island. Paul is also an Eagle Scout. Paul is also a Rotarian where he has served as President of the Skidaway Island Rotary Club and as an Assistant Governor of Rotary District 6920. Paul is a frequent speaker at professional and philanthropic events, and he attends many of the nation's top tax and business succession seminars. He is a member of both the Georgia and South Carolina Bars.
Valerie is a Safety Operations Specialist with the Savannah College of Art and Design. She was previously the Court Security Officer and an Inmate Process/Transport Officer for the Monogalia County Sheriff's Department in WV for 10 years. She obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Tuskegee University in 2000 and PhD in Cancer Cell Biology from West Virginia University in 2007.
Valerie has been involved in sports and competitions throughout her life, including her involvement with a semi-professional softball league in her early 20s and competing in Strongman events and becoming ranked nationally in women's master's division. Following her Strongman career, Valerie was introduced to Coach Kerri Goodrich and Performance Initiatives. She currently supports Performance Initiatives by recruiting, onboarding, and supporting volunteers for the organization.
Matt Cail is a Client Strategy Manager with Sterling Seacrest Pritchard, a risk management and insurance brokerage firm. Matt has more than 14 years of experience designing and managing complex risk management programs for middle market and large organizations. He works closely with organizations looking to find alternatives to standard guaranteed cost insurance. Matt earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Risk Management & Insurance from the University of Georgia and is a graduate of the 2015 class of Leadership Savannah.
An active supporter of his community, Matt has volunteered his time and talent with numerous organizations, including Performance Initiatives and Mission Union as a board member.
Vince DelMonte is a former (retired) executive director of Frank Callen Boys & Girls Club based in Savannah, GA. He has a combined experience of four decades of leading charitable organizations. Vince obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Springfield College.
